This policy explains what information the PK Media Egypt website (pkmediaegypt.com) collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. It covers this website only, not the websites of our clients or of the services we link to.
Messages you send us
When you use the contact form we receive the name, email address, optional phone number and message you type, together with the language of the page you sent it from.
Your message is stored in our website database on our own hosting account and emailed to our team inbox, so that we can reply. We use it only to answer your enquiry and follow up on it. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
To protect the form from spam, your IP address is used for a short time to limit how many messages can be sent in a row, and the form checks how quickly it was filled in.
Server logs
Like almost every website, our hosting server records basic technical information about each request: IP address, the page requested, the date and time, and the browser's user agent. These logs are used only to keep the site secure and working.
Cookies
Browsing this website sets no cookies of our own. The contact page is the only exception: it sets a session cookie and a security token cookie, which are needed to send the form safely and expire after about two hours.
Analytics and advertising
We may use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads and the Meta Pixel to understand how visitors use the site and to measure our advertising. When one of these is switched on, the provider can set its own cookies and receives information such as your IP address, the pages you visit and your device and browser, under its own privacy policy.
None of these is switched on at the moment.
The Google Map
The map on our contact page is provided by Google Maps. It only loads when you choose to show it; until then, nothing is sent to Google. Once it loads, Google receives your IP address and the usual technical details of your browser, under Google's privacy policy.
Links to other websites
Our pages link to WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Maps and our clients' websites. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which apply once you follow a link.
How long we keep it
Contact messages are kept for as long as we need them to handle your enquiry and keep a record of our business correspondence. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us at info@pkmediaegypt.com and we will reply as soon as we can. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.
Changes to this policy
If the way the website handles information changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
